With the holiday season approaching along with the bitter weather that comes with it, most Montanans will be spending lots of time indoors and out of the cold. However, if you can don a Carhart and a stocking cap you can still have a blast when the blast of cold air moves in.

Here’s an updated list of public events happening in Northwest Montana from September 19, 2024, through March 31, 2025:

1. Great Northwest Oktoberfest

4. Whitefish Winter Carnival

5. Bigfork Brewfest
