In a testament to true grassroots activism and community involvement, a group of concerned men and women from Yellowstone County, Montana set out on a mission to review the content of the reading material being made available to school children and, after a 78 day review process, was able to get 5 books removed from the school’s library.

When one examines the titles of the aforementioned “removed” books, it’s pretty clear that the texts need to be reserved for an adult audience and not for school age children.
“The books contained, discrimination involving, racism and religion, explicit

sexual content, derogatory statements, graphic violence with guns, knives
grenades, assault rifles, prostitution, profanity, inexplicit sexual activities
along with glorified alcohol and drug use”.
