HELENA, MT (59601) – The MTFC is proud to call for a special session to focus
on ensuring only verified Montana citizens can vote in any election and not have
to worry about being disenfranchised by non-citizens voting.

This special session call’s goal is to place a Constitutional Initiative on the
November 2024 ballot. The language for the initiative is as follows:

Text of Section 2: Article IV
Qualified Elector
Only a verified citizen of the United States 18 years of age or older who meets the
registration and residence requirements and provides documentary proof of
citizenship as provided by law can be a qualified elector unless the person is
serving a sentence for a felony in a penal institution or is of unsound mind, as
determined by a court.
